Le tour de l'étang de la Barde

The pond of the Bard, of a surface of 6 hectares is fed by the brook of Valouse. It was created to supply water to the wheels of the old forge. A 2 km walk allows you to go around the pond. Along its banks, you will discover typical marsh plants: cardamine of the meadows, burning lobelia or the marsh marigold but also a remarkable fauna: black woodpecker, grey heron or the diving pin. Throughout the walk, picnic areas are set up to share a meal with friends. This 1st category pond is also open to fishing and mycologists, whether beginners or experienced, will also be able to discover the diversity of mushroom species growing nearby.
